No conflicts here, especially since so many Patanjali authors conflict with each other. Swami Hariharananda is the real deal, no faking, no puffery, no pretending, not a new age guru who just learns the words, like so so so many. Truly and inspiration. No conflicts with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, also Self-realized. You just cant fake this stuff, and SHH authors the strongest Patanjali book in the world. good overview

I'm an aerospace grad student and I want to work for a defense contractor, so I figured I'd start trying to educate myself on fighter design.

This book has a lot of basics that are easy to understand for everyone, not just us "rocket scientists". I find the authors style a little bland, but that might be due to my familiarity with the subject matter. Color pictures would help spice things up.

Overall I think its a good book for anyone interested in the science behind fighter planes.

This is an interesting book on modern combat aircraft design. It is well written and simple to follow and understand making it accessible to a wide audience with an interest in combat aircraft.

The book is very informative, with great pictures, good illustrations and descriptions. However, the book can do with updates to take into account some of the developments that have taken place in the 20 years since its publication.

Brilliant! A brilliant piece of a complex whole

Chinese language and culture differ so strongly from American thought and culture that it is impossible to think that a single translation of a classic Chinese text can give the reader the complete experience of having read the text in its original language and context. RL Wing's translation brilliantly shines a light on the ART OF WAR.
I came to Wing's translation after having studied and studied the old public domain English translation with its copius notes and explanations. Wing gives the reader a tremendous insight into THE ART OF WAR, the brevity and compactness of Chinese language expression, the morality and thinking of Sun Tzu, and the different ways that the Eastern mind comprehends war from the Western mind.
If you are a dedicated student of Sun Tzu's ART OF WAR, this translation belongs in your collection. I don't know if it's the best or not, but it's a vital translation. If peace is your highest aim and the resolution of conflict without coming to violence is your highest aspiration, this book displays the wisdom of the great general in terms that clarify meaning for Western readers.

A well-defined interpretation of Sun Tzu's Classic work

Why isn't it called the "Art of War?" Because Wing hits on a point missed by most translations. Sun Tzu's objective in writing the classic book was, as Wing puts it, "The achievement of triumph through tactical positioning, without resorting to battle."
The book is divided as the original. Brief, to the point, and put forth in such a way to invite the reader to contemplate each section, with comments by the author as to how it relates to different levels of conflict...environmental, interpersonal, between leaders, and within ones self. This structure allows the reader to use this book as both discovery and reminder. I've carried the book around for years, using it to remind me how to deal with situations.
I've read several versions of "the Art of War," and value this one the most. It's highly recommended, and very useful, both personally and professionally.

Not a book for everyone...

Unfortunately this book really didn't do it for me. While my reading genres range from rom com to dark, I always read to be entertained and this story wasn't something I personally enjoyed. It's definitely dark. Really dark. I saw somewhere it was said this is "the next 50 Shades." It's not. 50 Shades was naughty taboo things that made you think "ooh that's hot, maybe I'd want to try that in the bedroom myself." There is NOTHING you would want to "try" personally in this book unless you were a complete sadist.

Personally, I love dark reads. K Webster, Ker Dukey, Pepper Winters...their books are all right up my dark alley. But for me to enjoy a dark read, there has to be some redeeming qualities, things have to be made right. Buttons and Lace is in a completely different "dark" category. While the writing itself was okay I felt like maybe the delivery could have been more palatable. This book was just straight up depressing and full of ugly, unspeakable things to me. All of the sex was forced. Not in a "ooh yeah tie me up baby" kind of way. No, it was straight up repeated rape, brutal beatings, sex slaves and human trafficking. All. Of. It. I say this as a warning because everyone is different and enjoys different things. I know some people who will be dying to get their hands on this. The darker the book for them, the better. So if that's the kind of read you enjoy and are entertained by, you'll love this book. Go 1-click right now! If you're more like me where you like the dark journey as long as you find the redeeming light and HEA at the end of the tunnel, this book isn't going to do it for you. So proceed with caution either way. If you have any triggers, here's a warning: don't buy this book because they're basically all included in this story.

So much false advertising!! Poorly written book - A waste of time & money.

FALSE ADVERTISING ALERT! I made the mistake of buying this book. IT'S NOT the #1 book in the world (It's not even close)! The "#1 book in the world" wouldn't be ranked so low on amazon. Also it' NOT SELLING OUT in stores! Barnes & Noble doesn't even carry it. I HATE BEING LIED TO! I knew something was fishy when B&N explained that they'd never heard of nor did they carry the book in any stores. I finally broke down & purchased the book after seeing so many ads ("bigger than Fifty Shades" HAHA yah right). The book was poorly written & the story was absolutely not sexy. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY on this book (Was really difficult to finish book). The story itself was disturbing. A lot of rape & beatings (not at all sexy).

If you want a series that compares to Fifty Shades I would recommend The Crossfire Series by Sylvia Day! Also I would highly recommend books by K. Webster, J. Kenner, Maya Banks, Pam Godwin, Pepper Winters, Laurelin Paige ....

Ridiculous and unbelievable and violent storyline wrapped up in one expensive read for me

Not sure why anyone would give this book more than 2 stars, the two stars I'm giving this book is only out of respect for the author's attempt and I mean loud and clear ATTEMPT to write a good read. This book for me was a complete and utter disappointment, I thought it was going to be really good, I believed the hype before the release, had I known the full context of the subject matter before I pre ordered I would have probably passed. All I can say is here is yet another violent female human trafficking storyline that was too violent to enjoy on any level for me, this is not a fictional romance read this is a violent upsetting female abusive read.God were to begin, ok first off this subject matter is so upsetting and also not believable how this author makes you cringe and roll your eyes at the same time all the way throughout this read was shocking to me but it's true for me .From a 4 person rape scene of our main character to her jailer playing hide go seek with her with a baseball bat ,telling her go hide and when I found you I'll beat you with it and so much worse was grossly painful to read.Then to Crow I just can't believe he couldn't go and save his own sister from the clutches of this madman yet he sees Pearl with him and he and his crew invade the home of the same madman that held his sister for months and saves Pearl in a matter of a week or two tops,Huge eye Roll !!!.Please Ms.Sky that doesn't even work or make any sense.This story went from utter anal violence to utter nonsense and unbelievable storytelling like whip lash.I could go on for hours but I'll just say not worth the money or my time, this is no romantic dark love story ,it's just a human trafficking violent story that is filled with unbelievable scenes,unbelievable explanation of character action and total nonsense zero plausibility to a degree that you will want to say "are you serious???? ",what !!!!!???? and you have got to be kidding me !!!!!.It's a ridiculous and violent storyline wrapped up into one and I'm sorry I ever ordered this book ,thinking of demanding a refund and I rarely do that.I won't be ordering the other two books that go with this series, one and done with these books.If your looking for a much more in depth and plausible story about human trafficking I can recommend author CJ Robert's books "Dark Duet Series, or Tight by Alessandro Torre, or Stay by Emily Goodwin at least in my opinion those books were well written and believable even though the subject matter is brutal.

So many errors...

Disappointed in the quality of the questions. Most of them are ridiculously easy and a handful are exceptionally hard (which I would expect). The reason I gave it so few stars is about 20% of the answers/questions I came across were wrong or so poorly worded that you could not ever get the correct answer. Example, one question asks the for "the maximum UDP packet size", which is in the answer set, 65,535, but the correct answer according them is 65,507 which is the maximum "payload" size not "packet" size.. The test is full of this type of misguided questions. Another question asked about "which is a better scanning tool?" NCAT or NMAP. Their was answer NCAT, which they then go on to explain how it is an improved version of Netcat (neither of which is a scanning tool). Nmap includes ncat in its install. I could go on, but hopefully you get the idea.

FYI, I was using the online testing engine, not the book. Also, no way to provide feedback on the wrong answers.

One plus, the score report shows you how much time you spent on each question, so that was kind of neat.

The real test cannot be this easy..

The real test cannot be this easy... I am thankful for the test bank as it helps me mentally prepare. I am using Skillport CEH v8. Taking notes, going through the material, answering questions with these practice tests. I have noticed Skillport is much more in depth than what these questions are asking. I would like to see more questions with images such as; Identifying more attacks, etc. I just find it hard to believe the real test will be this easy. With all respect to the author, thank you.

Is this exam really that easy???

Like someone else mentioned I started studying with this book and put it down because I felt like the material had to be wrong because there's no way the exam could be that easy...well I will tell you it is really that easy. Then again I've been involved in IT security for almost 20 years and has used every tool that was mention on the test. So if you have experience with tools such as those provided with with Kali you should be good to go. That being said, I bought this book and the other companion book (by Oriyano) to go with it both v9, but I just took the exam on Friday and the version that I had was v8, so I wasted money on these books. So long story short....if you have red team experience, hacking experience, or has been playing around with distros such as Kali for over 5 years, then this test is really "that easy".
